Nestled inside the Alpharetta Community ​Center, BrewAble is a non-profit café brewing up ​delicious coffee, featuring a full-service espresso ​bar, and offering tempting sweet treats and light ​lunches.

But BrewAble is more than just a place to grab a ​cup of joe. They provide meaningful ​employment and community connections for ​individuals with intellectual and developmental ​disabilities (IDD). By giving them opportunities ​to train, learn, and excel in a café setting, ​BrewAble fosters greater disability inclusion and ​real-world problem-solving skills within the ​community.


Located in the Alpharetta Community Center:

Wa​ggy World Dog Park

Waggy World Paw Park is a 1.5-acre fenced-in ​dog park managed by the City of Alpharetta ​Recreation and Parks Department. This popular ​amenity offers a safe and enjoyable space for ​dogs to exercise, socialize, and play.


Benefits:

  • Safe and Secure: The fenced-in area ensures ​dogs can play freely without worrying about ​straying or encountering dangers.
  • Socialization: Dogs can interact with other ​friendly pups and their owners, making new ​friends.
  • Exercise: Dogs can run, play, and burn off ​energy in a designated space.
  • Community Building: The park promotes a ​sense of community and encourages ​responsible pet ownership.


Park Rules:

  • Hours of Operation: Open from 8 AM to ​sunset daily.
  • Use at Your Own Risk: Dog owners are ​responsible for their dogs' behavior.
  • Vaccination Requirement: All dogs must ​have current rabies tags and vaccinations.
  • Waste Cleanup: Dog owners must clean up ​after their pets. Waste bags are provided.
  • Dog Limits: Maximum of 3 dogs per handler. ​Handlers must be at least 16 years old.
  • Leash Requirement: Dogs must be leashed ​when entering and exiting the park.
  • Children's Entry: Children under 8 must be ​accompanied by a guardian.
  • Aggressive Dogs: Aggressive dogs are not ​allowed. Excessive barking is discouraged.
  • No Heat Dogs: Dogs in heat are prohibited.
  • No Puppies: Dogs under 4 months old are ​not allowed.
  • Prohibited Items: No food, tobacco, alcohol, ​or rawhide allowed.
  • Drinking Fountains: Intended for people and ​pups only.
  • Violations: Violators may be removed from ​the park and lose park privileges.
  • Closures: The park may close for ​maintenance or special events.

Re​creation Center

There’s a lot of things going on at the Recreation ​Center throughout the year. Here are some of ​the activities you will find:


Badminton, Tot Time, Kidokinetics, Music with ​Movement, Shotokan Karate, Golf Beginner, ​Little Medical School, Summer Camp, Youth ​Volleyball, Volleyball Clinic, Outdoor Basketball.

Ma​nsell House

Looking for a charming and historic venue ​for your special occasion? The Mansell ​House and Gardens offers a picturesque ​setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal ​dinners, and more.

Wills Park Playgrounds​

Wills Park has three playgrounds however it’s ​flagship playground Wacky World is under ​renovation. See details here.



There are two other playgrounds:


The Yellow Playground which is located behind ​the Recreation Center. Is great for smaller ​children and has slides, swings a balance beam ​and tire spin.



The Purple Playground is back behind the ​farthest ballfield and offers shade with a canopy ​overhead. It’s equpped with multilevel slides, ​swings and plenty of climbing structures.


Pa​vilions

Pavilion #2

Located next to the Wacky World playground ​and restrooms, this pavilion can accommodate ​up to 30 people and is a good choice for small ​gatherings or theme parties.


Pavilion #3

Located near the tennis courts, playground, ball ​field, and restrooms, this pavilion can ​accommodate up to 200 people and has access ​to grills, electricity, lights, playgrounds, and ​restrooms.


Lions Pavilion

The largest pavilion in the park, located near the ​tennis courts and the Wacky World playground. ​It has movable standard picnic tables, lights, ​outlets, and grills.
